Since the summer of 2018, the residency program offered by l’Envers des pentes has allowed 9 artists to settle for a while in shelters: an incentive to immerse themselves in the concrete and physical reality of these specific places in order to anchor their practice in the territory of the Ecrins National Park and offer a unique interpretation.

The artists therefore took advantage of this base as an observatory in order to develop a research and creation project, but also to be present, to look and bring them to look differently, to share their research, their questions and their attempts with the team of the refuge and the inhabitants of one night.

The association offers public renditions of these residences here, in the form of a presentation of Multiples of Artists, video projections, performances and a traveling collective exhibition.
